BugSafe was born out of a personal concern. My daughter is allergic to wasp stings, and during the summer months there is always a certain vigilance when we sit outside drinking from bottles. When a close friend was also stung in the mouth by a wasp, it became clear just how serious the consequences can be.

We started thinking about whether it was possible to create a simple protection that prevents insects from getting into drinks, without affecting the feeling of drinking. The result was BugSafe – a discreet and reusable shield that fits standard bottles.

We are a Swedish family business, founded by Anders and Karin Wiklund. With over 40 years of experience working with people's health and wellbeing, our drive has always been the same – to create simple solutions that make everyday life safer, with care for both people and nature.

At the same time, we want to emphasize that BugSafe is not about fighting insects. On the contrary. Wasps, bees, and other pollinators play a crucial role in our ecosystem. With BugSafe, we protect both people and insects – so that we can enjoy summer together, in a safer and more sustainable way.

BugSafe is developed with care, made from food-grade premium silicone, and created to last – a small detail that can make a big difference.
